| I am a
graduate of Louisiana State University, where I earned a Bachelor of
Science degree in 1975. I am married with three children and also a
proud grandmother. My classroom is an environment of mutual respect. I realize that each student is unique and appreciate and celebrate these differences. I strive to differentiate instruction, while still making lessons challenging and fun. Most importantly, I believe that it is our job as teachers to prepare students to become productive members of society and the work force. We must train our students to become teachers and problem solvers. In order to accomplish this task, we must identify each individuals strengths and abilities and find methods to help students capitalize on them. |
